APPLICATION
Surface Preparation: Existing Concrete: Concrete surfaces must be clean and dry with all stains, oil, grease, dust, and dirt removed prior to application. We recommend ULTRITEu00ae DEGREASER from W. R. MEADOWS for cleaning. New Concrete: TIAH should be applied when surface water has completely disappeared and the concrete surface will not be marred by walking workmen. Application Method u0085 Use a sprayer or short-nap roller to apply a uniform film. Avoid puddling in low areas. If puddles occur, brush or roll them out. A standard industrial-grade sprayer, equipped with a neoprene hose and gaskets, as well as a 5941 spray nozzle (or equivalent) is recommended for best results.
For optimum performance, apply first coat at 600 ft. u00b2/gal. After the first coat has thoroughly dried, apply a second coat at 600 ft. u00b2/gal. NOTE: Second coat should be applied at a right angle.
Drying Time: TIAH dries quickly. Drying times may be extended depending on application rate, temperature, humidity, and project conditions. Restrict foot traffic for at least four hours. Twelve hours is preferable.
Cleanup: Application equipment should be cleaned promptly after use with xylene or toluene.
PRECAUTIONS
DO NOT DILUTE. FOR EXTERIOR APPLICATION ONLY. Surfaces treated with TIAH may become slippery under certain conditions. TIAH should not be applied during high temperature conditions in direct sunlight. These conditions cause rapid evaporation, which does not allow the film to form properly. Under these conditions, the film may peel, bubble, and/or turn white (blush). TIAH should not be applied to concrete exposed to excessive moisture. Entrapped moisture in a solvent-based sealer may cause the film to peel and/or turn white (blush).
Do not apply TIAH if the temperature of the concrete is below 40def F (4deg C). TIAH may be used on colored concrete, but mottling may occur. Do not use on dense or non-porous surfaces, i.e. brick, stone, etc. Do not use TIAH as a waterproofing sealer on masonry surfaces. TIAH is a membrane-forming sealer. All membrane-forming sealers may darken the concrete or magnify imperfections caused by variations in the porosity of the concrete.
Concrete containing calcium chloride will remain dark longer when treated with TIAH. A small test patch application is recommended. Concrete floors properly cured with TIAH meet section 8.9 u0093Adhesion of Tile Cements of ASTM C 1315. For other specifications, secure the approval of the paint or resilient flooring manufacturer before applying TIAH. The specifier and user shall determine the suitability of product for specific applications and assume all responsibility in connection therewith.

Prime Rez
Manufacturer: Prime Resins
Product URL: https://www.primeresins.com/
Comments: Structural cracks are repaired by filling the cracks with a high strength epoxy injection resin that bonds fractured concrete back together. The most appropriate injection resin is determined by the width of the crack and its location. Lower viscosity injection resins are best for filling narrow cracksu0097higher viscosity injection resins are better for filling wide cracks. Vertical or overhead cracks usually require sealing the surface with an epoxy gel to ensure that the resin doesn't run out before it cures. Some cracks in horizontal surfaces can be filled by gravity feeding epoxy into the cracks. Contact Bierschbach to determine what product would be best for your situation.

Liqui-Hard Concrete Densifier & Chemical Hardener
Manufacturer: W.R.Meadows
Comments
LIQUI-HARD concrete densifier and chemical hardener compound is a proprietary, water-based, ready-to-use, clear silicate liquid, formulated with chemically reactive raw materials to harden and dustproof concrete. This waterborne solution, when properly applied, offers substantial improvement in abrasion and chemical resistance and will significantly improve the durability of the concrete surface when compared to untreated concrete. As LIQUI-HARD is applied and penetrates into the concrete surface, a chemical reaction takes place, producing a byproduct that fills in the pores of the concrete. This process produces a substantially denser concrete surface with enhanced durability. In addition to the densifying and hardening action, LIQUI-HARD also solidifies the concrete, eliminating dusting and pitting.
USES
LIQUI-HARD is recommended for use wherever hardened, dustproofed, and improved chemical- and abrasion-resistant surfaces are required. Ideal applications include floors in industrial plants and warehouses, storage silos, sewage plants, chemical processing facilities, refineries, and heavy pedestrian floor traffic areas, such as civic centers, sports arenas, stadiums, hospitals, airports, and museums. LIQUI-HARD can successfully be used in conjunction with shake-on hardeners.

TECHNICAL DATA
VOC Content: 0 g/L
APPLICATION
Surface Preparation: Fresh Concrete: On newly placed concrete, LIQUI-HARD can be applied after final troweling. Existing (Old) Concrete: Surface should be clean and structurally sound. Remove all residues, curing compounds, oils, sealers, contaminants, and laitance before applying LIQUI-HARD. ULTRITE DEGREASER from W. R. MEADOWS may be used for cleaning. Fill and repair all holes, cracks, and deteriorated areas that have been removed to sound concrete. For optimum results on fresh, newly placed concrete, use MED-CURE curing aid from W. R. MEADOWS immediately after final finishing operations have been completed. Apply LIQUI-HARD according to the below existing concrete directions a minimum of three days after placement of concrete.
Mixing: For optimum performance, gentle mixing or agitation is recommended.
Application Method Fresh Concrete: Apply undiluted LIQUI-HARD at approximately 300 ft.2/gal. (4.91 m2/L) using a low-pressure sprayer, such as a Chapin 1949 with a 0.5 GPM (1.9 LPM) spray nozzle, or by spreading evenly with a soft-bristled broom. Do not allow material to puddle on the surface. No further application steps are required for fresh concrete. Existing (Old) Concrete: Saturate the surface with undiluted LIQUI-HARD by sprayer, squeegee or broom. Keep the surface wet with LIQUI-HARD for a minimum of 30 minutes. (A range of 30 - 60 minutes may be required depending on temperature and conditions.) NOTE: Pay particular attention to porous and/or dry areas. These areas must be kept wet at all times with LIQUI-HARD. Once the surface begins to gel and becomes slippery, immediately spray the surface with a light water mist. Scrub the surface with a broom or mechanical scrubber to increase the penetration of the LIQUI-HARD. Continue to work the LIQUI-HARD into the surface for another 5 - 10 minutes or until LIQUI-HARD becomes gelled and slippery for a second time. At this time, THOROUGHLY flush the surface with water. During the flushing process, agitate the surface with a broom to aid in removal of the excess LIQUI-HARD. Remove all excess material with a mop or squeegee. Thoroughly squeegee the surface dry. If there are slippery patches, this is an indication that there is still excess LIQUI-HARD present. These areas should be re-flushed and squeegeed again until the entire surface is dry. (Extremely porous surfaces may require a second application.) WARNING: Failure to thoroughly wash and remove all excess material from floor surfaces may result in unsightly white stains. Immediately wash off over-spray from glass, aluminum, or highly polished surfaces with water to avoid etching of surfaces. For application assistance, contact W. R. MEADOWS at (800) 342-5976.
Burnishing: LIQUI-HARD can be burnished to a high sheen on steel trowel concrete floors. A high-speed burnisher (2000 - 2200 rpm) with appropriate maintenance pad is needed.
Drying Time: 2 to 4 hours. LIQUI-HARD dries very quickly on new, virgin concrete. Drying times may be extended on existing (old) concrete due to surface conditions. Restrict foot traffic for at least four hours; 12 hours is preferable.
Cleanup: While still wet, equipment may be cleaned quickly and easily with soap and water. Do not allow LIQUI-HARD to dry before flushing excess from surfaces.
PRECAUTIONS
DO NOT DILUTE. Do not apply if the temperature of the concrete is less than 35deg F (2deg C) or above 135deg F (57deg C). KEEP FROM FREEZING. If frozen, product should be thawed and agitated slightly prior to use.
HEALTH HAZARDS
LIQUI-HARD is non-combustible. (Flash point is greater than 210deg F.) Direct contact will result in irritation of the skin and eyes. Inhalation of product mist may result in respiratory irritation. Refer to Safety Data Sheet for complete health and safety information.

EVAPRE Evaporation Retardant
Manufacturer: W.R.Meadows
Comments: EVAPRE evaporation retardant is an economical, high quality, water-based compound. It is specifically designed to form a thin monomolecular film to reduce rapid moisture loss from the concrete surfaces prior to curing. EVAPRE provides a significant aid in producing high-quality concrete flatwork. Rapid evaporation of water is retarded, slab surface conditions are normalized, and workers can adhere more closely to established finishing schedules. EVAPRE is also VOC-compliant. EVAPRE significantly reduces plastic shrinkage and cracking, wind crusting, stickiness, and sponginess, which often cause poor and uneven surface texture. These conditions result when the hydration is more rapid than the movement of bleed water to the surface. EVAPRE effectively combats and minimizes the effects of rapid-drying conditions such as low humidity, low dew point, high winds, direct sunlight, hot weather, heated concrete, or placement of concrete in a heated enclosure or interior area during cold weather. The protective film shield disappears as soon as the concrete is no longer plastic.
USES
EVAPRE is ideal for use as an evaporation retardant for concrete surfaces where the evaporation rate exceeds the rate of bleeding. EVAPRE can be used with the MEADOW-PATCH and MEADOW-CRETE line of repair mortars from W. R. MEADOWS. It can also be used with condensed silica fume concrete, concrete containing fly ash, and most other cementitious products. When applying surface hardeners, EVAPRE can be used after screeding and after the first floating operation, if necessary.
NOTE: EVAPRE is specifically designed to fight off the destructive effects of early rapid evaporative moisture loss. Early rapid evaporative moisture loss is addressed in ACI Committee 305R-91, entitled Recommended Practice for Hot Weather Concreting. This report contains a chart on page five that depicts the effect of concrete and air temperatures, relative humidity, and wind velocity on the rate of evaporation of surface moisture from concrete. It provides a graphic method for estimating the loss of surface moisture for various weather conditions.
FEATURES/BENEFITS
- Significantly reduces plastic shrinkage and cracking caused by evaporation in low humidity, high temperatures, and high winds.
- Allows use of lower slump and lower water: cement ratio concrete.
- Provides smooth and durable concrete flatwork.
- Reduces wind crusting, stickiness, and sponginess, which often cause poor and uneven surface texture.
- Allows finishing crews to adhere to established schedules.
- Reduces overall cost because timing of finishing operations is less critical. VOC-compliant.
- Helps minimize surface cracking due to early water loss of silica fume concrete.
- Available in exclusive, easy-to-use, 45-ounce containers.
PACKAGING
- 45 Ounce (1,596.9 cm3) Containers

SPECIFICATIONS
Complies with all current federal, state, and local maximum allowable VOC requirements, including U.S. EPA, SCAQMD, and OTC.
STEP 1: For the majority of applications, EVAPRE should be mixed at a ratio of one (1) part EVAPRE to nine (9) parts water. Agitate EVAPRE before mixing with water. Agitate the diluted solution again, before applying. NOTE: EVAPRE is available in an easy-to-use, exclusive 45-ounce container. Just pour into a 3.5 gallon sprayer, add water to fill, and go to work.
STEP 2: Apply EVAPRE with a commercial sprayer, such as a Chapin 1949. Use a Chapin 6-5797 or equivalent spray nozzle that produces a flow rate of .5 gallon per minute.
STEP 3: The EVAPRE diluted solution should be applied immediately after screeding and/or between finishing operations, as needed. Application is simplified by the fugitive pigment, which will disappear completely upon drying. Do not allow puddling. If puddling occurs, wipe up immediately and rinse with water.
STEP 4: Clean all equipment immediately after use with soap and water.
STEP 5: Finish concrete surface as required.
STEP 6: Cure concrete after bleed water or excess surface water has dissipated. The use of EVAPRE does not negate the need for a quality concrete curing or curing and sealing compound from W. R. MEADOWS.
NOTE: The residue remaining on the surface after finishing will not impair bonding or alter color. The protective shield usually lasts as long as the concrete is plastic. Therefore, all concrete surfaces must be properly cured as well.
PRECAUTIONS
Keep from freezing. EVAPRE should not be over-applied or worked excessively into the concrete surface during finishing operations. EVAPRE should not be used to re-temper the concrete. EVAPRE is not a curing agent. W. R. MEADOWS is not responsible for compatibility or results when EVAPRE is used with other manufactureru0092s products. Read and follow application information and use in accordance with the health and Safety information shown on the container label. Refer to Material Safety Data Sheet for complete health and safety information.

Duagard Citrus Form Release
Manufacturer: W.R.Meadows
Comments: DUOGARD CITRUS is a citrus-scented, multi-reactive form release agent. It is composed of an organic chemical that reacts with the alkali content of the concrete to form a release film that effectively prevents the bonding of concrete to the form. In addition, DUOGARD CITRUS also contains a high molecular weight and a non-reactive, chemically inert ingredient to assist in clean and quick form release and removal. These exclusive ingredients combine the effectiveness of a chemically reactive type and an inert barrier type to provide a doubly effective separation DUO and the ultimate in form release.
USES
DUOGARD CITRUS can be used on various types of forms: wood, steel, fiberglass, aluminum, as well as fiber tubes. DO NOT USE on expanded polystyrene (foam), rubber, latex, or latex forms made from SBR or natural rubber. Wood forms should be saturated prior to first use. DUOGARD CITRUS increases the life of wood forms by penetrating into the wood to waterproof and prevent deterioration. It also reduces maintenance requirements on metal forms by forming a rustproof film that makes the metal form essentially self-cleaning and rust-free.
DUOGARD CITRUS should be applied to fiber tube forms even though they may be pre-coated. Tubes will strip much easier, even 60 to 90 days later. If tubes are stripped in 5 to 10 days, hand rubbing is greatly facilitated when tubes are coated with DUOGARD CITRUS.
DUOGARD CITRUS also cuts machine cleanup time because it minimizes concrete buildup. Pavers, trucks, mixers, spreader-finishers, buggies, chutes, and other types of equipment should be sprayed daily with DUOGARD CITRUS for easy cleanup and rust prevention. DUOGARD CITRUS can be applied on forms for pre-stressed and precast concrete to produce a better and cleaner cast. The product will not stain or discolor concrete.

APPLICATION
Surface Preparation Clean form surfaces thoroughly prior to application. Remove all rust and scale from the forms in accordance with good concrete practices. Application Method Spraying is the ideal method of application. Use a Chapin 1949 sprayer and spray nozzle that produces a flow of 0.1 GPM. DUOGARD CITRUS may also be applied by roller coating, mopping, or brushing. A thin film should be applied for maximum economy and efficiency. Runs or puddles need to be brushed out. It is imperative when using new wooden forms of all types (plain wooden, plywood, rough cut, etc.) that DUOGARD CITRUS be applied and re-applied until complete saturation has been accomplished prior to first use. For metal forms, the best results are obtained with a spray-on application of DUOGARD CITRUS. Clean application equipment with soap and water.
PRECAUTIONS
For exterior use only. DO NOT OVER-APPLY DUOGARD CITRUS TO FORMS AND EQUIPMENT. DO NOT DILUTE. APPLICATION
Surface Preparation: If the surface of the concrete is clean and free of foreign matter, no further preparation is required. If foreign matter, such as dirt and dust, has accumulated on the surface, it should be removed before applying the compound. If surface moisture has evaporated, as in the case of formed concrete, or the concrete is beginning to dry out, best curing is obtained if the concrete is wetted before application of a 2200-WHITE series product. NOTE: The concrete surface should be moist, but free of standing water. Once the concrete will accept walking workmen without marring, the surface is ready for the application of any 2200-WHITE series product.
Mixing: Any settling in the drums can be re-dispersed with gentle agitation prior to use. CAUTION: TO AVOID FOAMING, DO NOT MIX EXCESSIVELY.
Application Method: Apply curing compound to the surface of the concrete with spray equipment, such as a Chapin 1949 with 0.5 GPM spray nozzle, as soon as possible after the moisture has left the surface. Spray equipment should be capable of spraying a smooth, uniform coat. Workmen should not track across freshly poured concrete until after the concrete is coated with the curing compound and the film has dried thoroughly.
Drying Time: The product dries in approximately one hour. Restrict foot traffic for at least four hours.
Cleanup: Clean equipment promptly with mineral spirits or other suitable petroleum distillate.
PRECAUTIONS
Keep from freezing. Do not apply on interior surfaces. Do not apply when the temperature of the concrete is less than 40 F. DO NOT MIX WATER-BASED COMPOUNDS WITH ANY COMPOUND CONTAINING SOLVENT. SEPARATION WILL OCCUR.
In areas in the South Coast Air Quality Management District in California, the product is for use on roadways and bridges only. (Not for use on curbs and gutters, sidewalks, islands, driveways, and other miscellaneous concrete areas.)
